CLASS DESCRIPTION
Major and Minor Prophets is an 8 part study through the last books of the Old Testament (Isaiah through Malachi). The study of the message and ministry of each prophet will be looked at.
In this class, you will learn how the seventeen prophetic books are structured and organized in your Bible. Then you will discover the main messages in each book. This study will help you to understand why the world is falling apart today. Finally, it will open your eyes to the glorious future God has prepared for those who humbly follow Him.

CLASS READING AND ASSIGNMENTS
You must purchase this Bible: CEV (Contemporary English Version). It can be in paperback or whatever you find that is cheapest if you want. If you already have a CEV translation you can use that if you wish.
You will be expected to read Isaiah - Malachi (including the book introductions) from the CEV translation.
For this class, the lectures and reading make up the grade. 50% of the grade is based on Bible reading. 50% of the grade is based on viewing the lectures.
Each class viewed is worth 7 percentage points to your final grade.
Reading Isaiah is worth 14 percentage points.
Reading Jeremiah is worth 11 points.
Reading Lamentations is worth 1 percentage point.
Reading Ezekiel is worth 10 percentage points.
Reading Daniel is worth 3 percentage points.
Reading Hosea is worth 3 percentage points.
Reading Joel is worth 1 percentage point.
Reading Amos is worth 2 percentage points.
Reading Obadiah and Jonah together are worth 1 point.
Reading Micah and Nahum together is worth 2 points.
Reading Habakkuk and Zephaniah are together worth 2 points.
Reading Haggai and Zechariah are together worth 3 points.
Reading Malachi is worth 1 percentage point.
